What's this?
Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

It really doesn't matter if Vista is *really* first or not. They say they are, and they have more money than god (last time I checked), and so their point of view will win in the minds of the schmucks who bother upgrading (or starting) to it.

LOL That was pretty funny. I don't own a mac but it does bring to light that Microsoft is making it seem as if what they are doing hasn't been done before. Anyway it is left to be seen just how much what Microsoft does with Vista will be different from the Mac OS. I'm sure they will have a couple new features that the Mac doesn't have (yet).

I have a feeling that if they even mention something good that Macs don't have yet, Jobs will take out his Whip of Doom, get it implemented in Leopard (OS 10.5), and Leopard get it released before Vista.

Disclaimer: I use an iBook, and am a MacAddict.

Disclamer: I am a mac user for life*

(shut down your mac ego) SO WHAT if mac's are better, last time I checked capitalism doesn't care what is "better" persay, and M$ is a software godzilla because they know how to market a product to the masses (dummys).

That's comedy! When Microsoft first implemented the point and click feature to its OS, they were ripping off Apple then. Maybe everything is the same as usual for Microsoft. :)

All this talk about having a unified feed icon across all platforms to improve usability, but we can't have any of our operating systems be ANYTHING alike? Let's all praise Microsoft for almost outright stealing Firefox's RSS icon, but scold them for even trying to replicate any OSX feature.

Trenton; It's not about them trying to replicate OS/X features.. It's to the benefit of everyone if they do..

It's that MS has a way of passing it off as their own creativity. When Vista finally does come out (2015 or so), mac users will have to listen to the onslaught of hype and deal with everyone talking about how windows is so much better because it can do x, y, or z.

By the time MS comes out with Vista, Steve Jobs has already said they're going to have the next release of Mac OS X out.
